Installation Inside the recess
To ensure a precise fit within tracks or poles, begin by measuring the width at three distinct points. Make sure to measure at the top, middle, and bottom of the area for accuracy. Then, measure the drop at three locations, ensuring to measure from the left, middle, and right sides.
This width and drop measurements together make up the "recess size." When ordering, it's essential to provide us with the smallest width and drop measurements. Also, always remember to indicate the width before specifying the drop.
Installation outside the recess
When installing curtain tracks or poles outside the recess, start by measuring the width of the window. Ensure to add at least another 30cm in total, 15cm for each side, to accommodate the tracks or poles adequately. (See below Chart as a guideline but please note different heading types will require different amounts)
Recess Size Addition for Stack (Each Side)
• 100cm (40") 15cm (6")
• 180cm (71") 20cm (8")
• 240cm (95") 25cm (10")
• 360cm (142") 35cm (14")
• 480cm (190") 45cm (18")
• 600cm (237") 52cm (21")
For the pole length, calculate it as the recess width plus the additional amount per side.
When measuring for tracks or poles outside the recess, begin with the width of the window. Ensure to allow for a minimum overlap of 75mm (3 inches) on both sides of the curtain track or pole for optimal coverage and visual appeal. After determining the width, proceed to measure the drop. As with installation inside the recess, remember to state the width measurement first, followed by the drop when placing your order. These combined measurements form what is referred to as the "curtain size" during the ordering process.
