One component is affixed via an eyelet or rod pocket, while the other is integrated into the Roman blind tape. These components are strategically positioned at the penultimate and bottom pockets of the blind. In the event of an accident, the Rear Cord device swiftly detaches from the blind, thus mitigating potential hazards. Upon the application of 6kg or more force, the Rear Cord automatically releases, eliminating any hazardous loops on the blind. This straightforward mechanism can be lifesaving while preserving the essence of the product. Furthermore, both breakaway components can be easily reattached by clipping them together.

The Levelling Cord Toggle, offered in models 76334 or 763341, complements the functionality of the Rear Cord Breakaway Device seamlessly. Available with either a cable tie or a cord tie, this toggle serves as a traditional levelling mechanism. Unlike the Rear Cord Breakaway Device, the Levelling Cord Toggle remains separate from the blind, enabling the breakaway cord to be removed effortlessly and safely. To accomplish this, the toggle must be securely fastened onto the cable or cord with a tie knot. This safety feature not only helps prevent children from getting entangled in the cord but also mitigates the risk of it becoming a choking hazard, effectively serving as a cord stopper.
